Topics included the curatorial process and how exhibitions come together, followed by an audience Q&A. Our largest event in 2025, with over 60 attendees.
AUGUST 2025SUREL’S PLACEPanel discussion about artist residencies featuring representatives from the James Castle House, Surel’s Place, and Ming Studios. Followed by an audience Q&A.
JUNE 2025COILED WINERYA Long Table discussion on the intersection of art and artificial intelligence, exploring the creative possibilities and ethical considerations shaping the future.
MAY 2025INSPIRATION ALLEYTour of “Inspo Alley” with founder Russ Stoddard, followed by a “Music Tasting” Listening Party. This event is in partnership with Radio Boise and hosted by Todd Dunnigan on the history of Boise’s rock music scene.
MARCH 2025BOISE CONTEMPORARY THEATERBehind-the-scenes tour with BCT Artistic Director Benjamin Burdick, including a look at the theater, rehearsal spaces, and the new Ghost Light Pub. Jessica Ires Morris led a compelling presentation on the power and purpose of contemporary theater.
FEBRUARY 2025TRICAHappy hour and guided tour of TRICA, a children’s arts education center. Artists were invited to explore opportunities to share their expertise as part of the TRICA team.
DECEMBER 2024WASSMUTH CENTERArtists involved in creating pieces for the new Human Rights Center shared their processes in a panel discussion, followed by a Q&A. This was our largest event in 2024, with over 50 attendees.
OCTOBER 2024BLUE GALLERIES AT BSUOrganized a guided tour with gallerist Kirsten Furlong of the DRAWING THE SKY: ARTIST AS WITNESS exhibit, followed by a tour of BSU’s impressive art school facilities. Approximately 40+ attendees were deeply inspired by the experience.
SEPTEMBER 2024PIVOT NORTH ARCHITECTUREConducted a 3×5 format where artists presented a topic for three minutes and received feedback for five. The atmosphere was intimate and inspiring, fostering vulnerability and authenticity.
AUGUST 2024JUMPHeld a speed networking event for 30 participants in small rotating groups of four. Attendees appreciated the casual format and the chance to connect.
JUNE 2024GARDEN CITY RIVER FRONTHosted a Long Table discussion (a format by Lois Weaver) with 40+ attendees. The format promoted non-hierarchical participation and sparked meaningful conversations about the vision for the artist community in Boise.
